CityGrip Recovery is a vehicle recovery company based at 68 Ruckholt Road, Leyton, London E10 5NP. We recover cars, vans and 4x4s 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we also handle motorbike recovery, jump starts, fuel delivery, mobile tyre fitting, police pound release and scrap car collection. The price is agreed before we set off, with no separate call-out fee.
Who we are
CityGrip Recovery is based in East London and works on one principle: tell the driver the price first, then do the job. We cover every London postcode and the M25, take jobs on the M1, M11 and M6, and help with car recovery in London, breakdowns, accident damage, flat batteries, wrong fuel, punctures, police pound releases and scrap collections.
We would rather set out how we work than ask you to take our word for it. Before anything moves, we agree a fixed price for the job in front of us. We guarantee attendance on every job we confirm (the Dartford Crossing itself and its approach roads excepted), and we are open about what we cannot promise, such as an arrival time.

How we work
Price agreed first
We confirm the job and agree the price on the phone before we set off. There is no separate call-out fee, so there is nothing to negotiate at the roadside.
Guaranteed attendance
We guarantee attendance on every job we confirm (the Dartford Crossing itself and its approach roads excepted), and where the police or National Highways are managing the scene we attend as soon as they allow access. We cannot give an arrival time, because it depends on where you are and, where the police or National Highways are managing the scene, on when they allow access.
Safety before speed
National Highways says recovery operators are never expected to work in a live lane. On a motorway, follow the Highway Code (rule 277) first and call us once you are somewhere safe. Read the steps
