CityGrip Recovery offers packing help in London on request, with packing materials available on advance notice. Starting prices are £290 for 1–2 bedrooms and £500 for 3–4 bedrooms. The number of bedrooms is a guide to the enquiry, not a substitute for describing the contents, access and work required. Confirm the agreed packing scope and full price before booking.

Two homes with the same number of bedrooms can contain very different amounts. List the rooms, the furniture and the loose belongings that need packing. Tell us about a kitchen full of crockery, shelves of books, pictures, mirrors, electronics and anything already packed.
Say if you want help with the whole planned load or only selected items. If you are packing some rooms yourself, agree which items remain for the packing team so there is no confusion on the day. Keep the inventory consistent with the removal enquiry if both services are being arranged.
For a house move, include the loft, garage or other storage areas in the description. A bedroom-based starting price does not mean unlimited contents or every outbuilding is included.

Packing for 1–2 bedrooms starts from £290. Packing for 3–4 bedrooms starts from £500. These are starting figures; the contents, scope, access and preparation needed determine the full quote.
Ask which rooms and items are covered, whether any materials are included, what materials need arranging separately and whether the quote includes all applicable charges. We do not describe materials as automatically included or automatically extra: confirm the actual arrangement before accepting it.
Transport is a separate part of the move. If you also need a van and movers, request the complete plan and price rather than assume a packing starting price includes a removal journey. Unpacking and packaging disposal are not promised as included services.
Arrange materials before the day they are needed.
Packing materials are available with advance notice. Tell us what needs packing early enough to discuss suitable supplies and the quantity. Do not assume boxes or wrapping will arrive with a vehicle unless this has been agreed.
If you are supplying your own materials, say what you have and how much is already packed. Avoid overfilling boxes; make the contents and destination room easy to identify. Point out any item whose original packaging or handling instructions you have kept.
Keep passports, keys, essential paperwork and belongings needed immediately separate. Decide what is travelling with you, what is moving in the van and what is not being moved, and make that distinction clear before packing begins.
Fragile pieces, large furniture and assembly requests.
Describe fragile or unusual pieces and send photographs where useful. Include dimensions and known weights for anything large or awkward. Acceptance and the proposed handling must be confirmed for the actual item; a general packing enquiry is not a promise of specialist artwork, piano or hazardous-item handling.
Taking furniture apart and assembly are available on request. Mention them at the quote stage, including the furniture type and any instructions or fittings available. Do not assume every piece can be dismantled or that the work is included in the packing figure.
If an item belongs to a landlord or is staying behind, identify it before the work starts. Keep small fittings with the item they belong to and agree how parts and boxes will be labelled for the destination.
Coordinate packing with the actual move.
Give the collection address, planned moving date and any building restrictions. For a flat, check whether lifts can be booked and whether the building sets working or moving hours. Tell us what access will be available when packing is proposed.
If CityGrip is also arranging the transport, confirm how packing, loading and delivery fit together. A quote request is not a reserved date or a guarantee that all work can be completed in one visit. The plan needs to match your contents and the access at both ends.
